एक तत्त्वज्ञ अपने मन से कहता है कि॰हे मन ! सद्गुरु तत्व का महत्व सुन|जो अज्ञानान्धकार को मिटा दे वही गुरु है| यद्यपि वेदादि के अनुसार गुरु एवं हरि दोनों एक ही हैं एवं इन दोनों में कोई भी कृपा कर देतो प्रेम सुधा रस मिल जाता है| फिर भी एक रहस्य है, वह यह कि बिना गुरु के हरि की प्राप्ति असम्भव है , कृपालु कहते हैं जबकि बिना हरि के ही गुरु की प्राप्ति एवं प्रेमानन्द की प्राप्ति सम्भव है ऐसे सद्गुरु को बार-बार नमस्कार हो|

English Meaning

A spiritual scholar speaks to his own mind, “Oh mind, listen to the significance of the Sadguru Tattva (the essence of a true spiritual master). The one who can eradicate the darkness of ignorance is indeed a Guru. Although according to the Vedas, both Guru and Hari (God) are one and the same, and if either of them showers their grace, the nectar of divine love is attained. Still, there is a mystery: that without the Guru, attaining Hari is impossible, while ‘Kripalu’ says that without Hari, attaining the Guru and the bliss of divine love is possible. Such a Sadguru is worthy of repeated salutations.”
